Gage offers instruction in the principles of drawing, painting and sculpting and is dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels realize themselves as artists in contemporary society.

We do not have volunteer opportunities at this time.
Thank you for your interest in teaching with Gage Academy of Art! We are not currently taking in any new instructors at this time. But you are more than welcome to submit an application for opportunities that may open in the future. Because of the number of submissions, we will not be able to respond to each application. After filling out the form, you can also email your resume and cover letter to info@gageacademy.org.

Program Monitors receive a 70% discount off tuition of their designated class(es) in exchange for assisting instructors. The studio monitor needs to be dedicated to the class dates and fully understand the requirements before applying. Gage accepts monitor applications on a rolling basis for both online and in-person classes and workshops. Awarded monitors will receive an email with additional instructions for registering. To apply, please read the requirements below and fill out an application to be considered.

REQUIRED:
- ONLINE PROGRAMS: Knowledge and experience of Zoom meeting software, Facebook private groups, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues during online class sessions.
- IN-PERSON PROGRAMS: Setting up classroom and materials/equipment, assisting instructor during class.
- Must be available at least 1 hour before and after class for any additional tasks requested by instructor.

Gage Academy of Art is always searching for experienced figure and portrait models. Models are essential at Gage Academy where drawing, painting, and sculpture relies on live models in the classroom. Gage is looking for models of all genders, ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, and sizes to enhance the learning experience and visual vocabulary.
We consider and hire models as needed and on a rolling basis. We encourage interested models to fill out the Model Application to be considered for a future figure or portrait modeling positions at Gage. Only fully completed applications will be considered.
